Nicola Morgan is a visual artist, teacher, author and illustrator based in North Vancouver, BC. She received her BFA from Emily Carr College of Art and Design in painting and two dimensional explorations. Nicola also plays an active role in advisory boards and juries and is an advocate for the importance of the role of art in a healthy balanced community.

Nicola works with colour, value and form in various mediums with reoccurring images, shapes and symbols often emerging in the work. Trusting in the process helps her unfold new ideas, as an unexpected surprise is simply an opportunity for the next experience.

Nicola provides a relaxed and comfortable approach to abstraction in her classes. She encourages self-exploration and creative discovery in a safe and non-judgemental atmosphere. No mistakes. Only new discoveries.
